HOW TO GET TECHNICAL HELP*

In an effort to serve you better, the information below outlines the best possible way to reach ITC’s Help Desk.

  • For help with technical matters or self-service, click here or call 404.527.5701, (press Option #1 if the BlueWave auto-attendant)*.
  • For service requests (hardware, software, phone installation, etc.), please click here to use the online Service Request form.
  • Note: all persons must complete a request form prior to receiving assistance.

*Persons contacting our staff directly via personal cell phones or otherwise, will be kindly redirected to one of the options listed above.  Using any other approach may cause a delay in processing.  In the event the auto-attendant picks up, BlueWave Computing engineers serve as our backup covering the phones on our behalf during normal business hours. Please do not contact other departments outside of the Office of Strategic IT for technical assistance such as the Registrar’s Office and others.

HOW TO ACCESS EMAIL AT ITC

There are two email platforms at the ITC at present.  Gmail and MS Outlook.


#1 – GMAIL

NEW my.ITC Gmail

Summary: my.ITC Gmail is the new email platform being used in beta test mode at the ITC.  It was originally for students, however, due to popular demand, it is now open to all constituents of ITC.

What to do if you have an ITC sponsored Gmail account:

  • New and Returning Students:
    • From www.ITC.edu, Email – myITC Gmail (beta)” and login with your username and password.  Note: remember to only type in the username portion which is everything before the “@” symbol.  No need to type @my.itc.edu.
    • Faculty/Staff:
      • From www.ITC.edu, click “Login” and select “myITC Gmail (beta)” and login with your username and password.  Note: remember to only type in the username portion which is everything before the “@” symbol.  No need to type @my.itc.edu.

 

What to do if you do not have an ITC sponsored Gmail account:

  • New Students:
    • All of your credentials have been provided for you via the Office of Admissions.  From www.ITC.edu, click “Email – myITC Gmail (beta)” and login with your ID and enter the password provided on your letter.  If you misplaced your credentials, please contact the Admissions Office at 404.527.7700 and ask for Admissions or click here to request assistance.  Note: remember to only type in the username portion which is everything before the “@” symbol.  No need to type @my.itc.edu.
    • Returning Students:
      • From www.ITC.edu, click “Email – myITC Gmail (beta)” and login with your ID and enter the password “student@itc”.  If you misplaced your credentials, please click here to request assistance or call us at 404.527.5701.   Note: remember to only type in the username portion which is everything before the “@” symbol.  No need to type @my.itc.edu.
    • Faculty and Staff:
      • From www.ITC.edu, click “Email – myITC Gmail (beta)” and login with your ID and enter the password “teacher@itc”.  If you misplaced your credentials, please click here to request assistance or call us at 404.527.5701.   Note: remember to only type in the username portion which is everything before the “@” symbol.  No need to type @my.itc.edu.

 

#2 – MS OUTLOOK

What to do if you have a MS Outlook account:

  • New Students:
    • Does not apply.
    • Returning Students:
      • From www.ITC.edu, click Email – “Student Email – MS Outlook” and login with your username and password.  Note: it’s best to type in itcpdc\username for your login. Also, in a few weeks, this application will go away so please begin using the my.ITC Gmail platform. See instructions above.
    • Faculty/Staff:
      • From www.ITC.edu, click Email – “Faculty/Staff Email – MS Outlook and login with your username and password.  Note: it’s best to type in itcpdc\username for your login.

What to do if you do not have a MS Outlook account:

  • New Students:
    • All new students will use the my.ITC Gmail accounts.  MS Outlook will be sunset this semester.
    • Returning Students:
      • You may request us to reset your account by clicking here to request assistance or call us at 404.527.5701 or by calling us at 404.527.5701 and a member of our team will contact you with your credentials.  Once you have your credentials, you may follow the steps above for students who have MS Outlook accounts.
    • Faculty/Staff:
      • You may request us to reset your account by click here to request assistance or call us at 404.527.5701 or by calling us at 404.527.5701 and a member of our team will contact you with your credentials.  Once you have your credentials, you may follow the steps above for faculty and staff that have MS Outlook accounts.

How To Get Technical Help (Updated)

Dear ITC Community:

In an effort to serve you better, the information below outlines the best possible way to reach ITC’s Help Desk.

  • For help with technical matters or self-service: click here to request assistance or call 404.527.5701, (press Option #1 if the BlueWave auto-attendant)*.
  • For service requests, click here, complete the form and click “Submit”.  One of our staff members will respond accordingly.  Service requests include hardware, software, phone installation, etc.
  • Important: all persons must complete a request form prior to receiving assistance from the help desk.
  • For Moodle support: Our help desk will assist you with logging into the system and making sure that students can see their classes under the “My Courses” section.  Additional requests for assistance should be directed to the professor teaching the course.  For more details, please visit http://moodle.itc.edu.
