Office of the ProvostThe mission of the Office of the Provost is to provide oversight for academic affairs, including the constituent seminaries, departments, other academic units, faculty and students. The Provost implements matters relating to educational policies and handles the adjudication of student academic affairs. An environment of creativity and support is sustained by ensuring teaching excellence and groundbreaking research through means of faculty development, effective long-range planning, periodic program reviews and the retaining of distinguished faculty committed to teaching, research and service. Quality of the academic program is further enhanced by determining the Center’s technological plan and ensuring that the necessary resources are in place to support academic programs as well as overseeing the procedures and criteria for the tenure and promotion process, the hiring of quality faculty, and post-tenure review.
