classroom and students in the Certificate Program 2009-2010
CERTIFICATE IN THEOLOGY
(non-degree)
The Certificate Program of theological education is open to
ministers and lay persons
of all denominations who want to improve their
knowledge and preparedness for
ministry. A degree is not required for
enrollment. Since its inception in 1991, the
Certificate Program has been offered in various
cities throughout the United States,
Canada, Japan and the Caribbean and more than
1,500 students have completed the
program and received the Certificate in Theology.
Moreover, several of these graduates
have moved on to matriculate through ITC's
Master's Program.
-
The Certificate in Theology
Program is designed to provide an organized, structured
series of courses that are taught by seminary trained local
instructors with Master's
and Doctoral degrees who use, as part of their class materials,
recorded lectures by
members of the ITC faculty. Because this is a "Certificate"
Program, all interested
persons, with or without college degrees, are eligible to
enroll.
