CONTINUING
EDUCATION
The
ITC Office of Continuing Education and the Certificate Programs provides continuing education experiences to a broad range of
non-traditional students in both local and distant communities.
Except where noted, all continuing education events and programs
are
offered on the ITC campus, open to the public and do
not require prior completion of any
academic degree.
Students earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) in multiple ways and
in different
settings, including,
but not limited to, the following:

Founder’s Day Lectures offered through each of the six
constituent seminaries in the months of October – April of each
year

Denominational Academies and Special Training Events (at the
request of constituent denominations)

A separate program, The
Institute of Church Administration and Management (ICAM) offers
several seminars for seminary graduates, lay leaders, and other
interested persons Fall and Spring of each year.

Continuing Education Events
for fall, spring, and summer:
the Black Women in Ministry Summer School Course, the Urban
Theology Institute’s Training Seminars, and the A.M.E.
Ministers' Conference.
All CEUs are granted according to the published guidelines of the
Association of Theological Schools
