Student and Community Life
The ITC enrolls more than 450
degree-track students from the Caribbean, Africa,
and Asia, as well
as the United States. This diverse student body represents
more
than 25 Christian denominations and a range of
nondenominational churches.
Many are ordained ministers before
arriving on campus. Forty-six percent of the
students are
women and one in very five students enrolls at ITC immediately after
completing an undergraduate degree program. The typical
student is 30 to 49 years
old, active in a local church, and
successful in one career and preparing for a second career. In
addition to students working toward degrees, nearly 400 more are
enrolled
in certificate-granting courses associated with the
Continuing Education and Certificate Program, with study sites in 19
regional locations and a site in Tokyo, Japan.
