Faith Journey in Parish Ministry

The purpose of the Faith Journey: Partnership in Parish Ministry Formation program is to foster the vision of congregational ministry in youth and adults of African descent and their movement toward ministry preparation and vocation.

The goals for Faith Journey: Partnership in Parish Ministry Formation are:

• To prepare youth and adults for vocational ministry through the development of knowledge, attitudes and practices conducive to excellent 21st century parish ministry, and
• To accomplish a purpose of nurture, support, and guidance at pivotal ages and stages along the way through specific goals including nurturing goals (also called educational goals) and mentoring goals.
