Sidney H. Evans, Jr.
Sidney H. Evans, Jr., is the President of Madisan Mackenzie, LLC, a financial management consulting. Currently Mr. Evans, through his firm is serving as the Interim VP and CFO for ITC. He is the former Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer for Howard University. Prior to Howard University, Mr. Evans served as Vice President for Business and Finance of Dillard University, New Orleans, LA from 1997-2005. Mr. Evans received a B.A. in Economics from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, North Carolina in 1977 and an M.B.A. in Finance, from University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1979. He also graduated from the Harvard University Endowment Institute and received a certificate from the Institute for Educational Management, Harvard Graduate School of Education.
Additionally, Mr. Evans has served in a number of professional capacities. He served as the Chief Financial Officer to the District of Columbia Government Metropolitan Police Department and Director of Financial Analysis and Budget for Howard University, Washington, D.C. Mr. Evans was also Manager, Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis for Unisys Corporation, Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, and worked for Ciba Geigy Corporation, Wachovia Bank &Trust Co., N.A., and Citibank, N.A., NY,NY. Mr. Evans was the President Pro Tem of the New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board and Chairman of the Pension Committee for the New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board. He was also a member of the following boards: New Orleans Board of Liquidation, City Debt, Deerfield Academy, and a former Director of Progress Rail Corporation.
